Take Action
And Get Involved
How can you get involved?
At EASE, we believe that creating a world of accessibility for all is a collective effort, and there are many ways you can join us in making this vision a reality. Whether you have time, skills, or resources to contribute, your involvement will help bridge the gap between Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, DeafBlind, Blind, Visually Impaired, and hearing/sighted communities. Here are a few ways you can get involved:
1. Volunteer
Our events and initiatives rely on dedicated volunteers to help with planning, logistics, and outreach. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
-
Assist at our immersive events, helping participants engage with accessible tools and experiences.
-
Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
-
Help distribute educational materials in your community, spreading awareness about accessibility.
-
Join advocacy efforts to promote inclusive policies and practices across the state.
-
Volunteering with EASE is a hands-on way to make a direct impact and help create a more inclusive world. No matter your background or experience, there’s a role for you!
2. Attend Our Events
One of the best ways to support EASE is by attending our immersive accessibility events. These free events are open to the public and offer a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and experience firsthand how accessibility can transform lives. By attending, you help spread the message of inclusivity while gaining valuable insight into the challenges and solutions in the field of accessibility.
3. Donate
Your donations allow us to continue offering free immersive events, print and distribute educational materials, and expand our outreach efforts. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us bring the message of accessibility to more communities across South Carolina and beyond. Donations directly fund the resources and tools needed to make our programs possible, from event materials to advocacy campaigns.
4. Become a Sponsor
Looking for a more significant way to support EASE? Consider becoming a sponsor. As a sponsor, your contribution will help us cover costs for venues, materials, and accessibility tools. Sponsorship also allows us to expand our programs and bring our events to more communities. We offer sponsorship opportunities for businesses, organizations, and individuals who share our vision of a world where accessibility is a reality for all.
5. Spread the Word
Awareness is key to creating change. Help us reach more people by spreading the word about EASE and our mission. Follow us on social media, share our events and initiatives with your network, and talk to your friends and family about the importance of accessibility and inclusivity. Every conversation and shared post helps move us closer to a world where everyone is included.
6. Partner with Us
Do you represent a business, school, or community organization? Partnering with EASE allows you to bring accessibility education and advocacy directly to your community. Whether you host an immersive event, distribute our materials, or advocate for more inclusive practices in your organization, we’re always open to collaborations that promote accessibility.
Together, we can create a future where no one is left out or left behind. If you’re ready to get involved, contact us at 843- 900-6636 or email us at easesouthcarolina.com to learn more about how you can help make a difference with EASE. Let’s work together to build a more accessible world for everyone!
